Cecil and Hillview Farms are teaming up again to host the ninth annual Farm to Table Dinner on September 22nd. They will be hosting this year’s event outdoors at Hillview in a space nestled between two barns with a picturesque view of farm beauties.

Celebrity local chef Matt Weafer will prepare this year’s meal, highlighted by Hillview Farms beef tenderloin and chicken. Cecil Farms will source all produce for dinner, consisting of appetizers, main course and desserts.

“It’s a favorite tradition for a lot of people – they really look forward to it,” said event organizer Suzanne Cecil White. “We are limiting attendance to 100 people to preserve the privacy of the event.”

The event also features live music, camaraderie, beer and wine. White said it creates the perfect opportunity to enjoy the tastes of the season and create lasting memories with friends and loved ones.

“It’s a one-of-a-kind evening, sunset dinner, overlooking hundreds of acres of beautiful western Daviess County farmland,” she said. “Dress up or dress up; it’s your choice, just come relax, laugh and hang out with others.”

The two farms had the idea more than ten years ago to share their farms with the community. White said that with the temperatures cooperating, the landscape provides an “incredible place to celebrate the 2022 harvest.”

The event is restricted to ages 21 and older and tickets are $75 per person. For more information about the event or to purchase tickets, visit the event website here.
