Press conference organized at the city college on the BAJA SAEINDIA event

A press conference was organized Wednesday in a college of the city on the BAJA SAEINDIA event, by the Society of Automotive Engineers.

The physical round is ready to start in full swing at NATRAX, Pithampur from 6th April to 10th April.

81 BAJA teams from 24 states across India are participating in Phase 3 of BAJA SAEINDIA 2022. Four teams from Madhya Pradesh including 2 teams from Indore engineering colleges are participating in the event.

This year, NATRAX is physically hosting the event with a Supernatural All-New Track facility, which will make it much harder for teams to showcase their buggy performance.

A remarkable unique feature of BAJA SAEINDIA is the adoption of a new theme every year, this year the BAJA SAEINDIA 2022 is on a “Revamped Strategies” theme.

The event kicked off on April 5 with the BAJA Aptitude Test (BAT), where more than 650 participating students from the 4th year of the engineering school took the test. BAT is the preliminary qualifying round for the HR-Meet scheduled for April 11-12 at Acropolis Institute of Technology, Indore.

Dr. N. Karuppaiah, Additional Director and Center Head, NATRAX, said, “We are pleased that NATRAX has hosted this popular SAEINDIA event since its inception in 2007.

BAJA SAEINDIA provides a comprehensive experience for students through hands-on learning in various aspects and also enables students to develop passion, perseverance, skill and positivity which are the four pillars of success. During the press conference, V Vikram Verma, CEO of Sona Comstar – Driveline said, “A country’s youth is its true strength.
