New York – HTT’s virtual Heimtextil conference next week will open with a deep dive into the exhibition’s international trend forecast for 2022/23.
Anja Bisgaard Gaede, founder of SPOTT trends & business and member of the Heimtextil Trend Council, will lead the live presentation. She will share the consultancy’s trending perspectives on the direction of design with an examination of the materials, palettes and lifestyle influences that are driving transformation.
HTT’s “What We All Missed Without January 22 Heimtextil” quick online event will take place on Monday, January 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. Registration is free to members of the home textile industry. Sponsors include Birla Cellulose, BKS Textiles, Egyptian Cotton, Eastman Naia and Supima.
The Heimtextil Virtual Conference will also feature the perspective of a panel of international manufacturers and sourcing experts, who will discuss business trends in production, sustainability and supply chain. Confirmed participants so far include Sudha Anand, Marketing Director for BKS Textiles; Tab Morin, president of the US division of Zhejiang Multi Glory Home Textiles; and Imran Lateef, President and CEO of Texlynx.
A panel of industry suppliers will share their views on pricing, sustainability and other key issues impacting the home textiles value chain. Participants include executives from Birla Cellulose, Devan, Eastman and Supima.
A panel of senior design directors will offer their insights into product development for the US market. Participants include Dawn Rochelle Fields, Vice President of Product Design and Development, HK GMS; Bryan Parker, vice president of design and merchandising, Indo Count Industries; and Emily Sapienza, vice president of product design and development, WestPoint Home.
