Congress Rally: Rajasthan Health Department to Guarantee Use of Masks and Disinfectants | Jaipur News


JAIPUR: Congress will hold an anti-price hike rally on Sunday at Vidyadhar Nagar in Jaipur and thousands of people are expected to attend the event, including senior party leaders.
The Ministry of Health has made extensive arrangements to ensure the availability of health facilities, ambulances and doctors. The focus will be on ensuring that people must wear masks and use disinfectants in accordance with appropriate Covid behavior.
The teams of the department reviewed the preparations at the airport and at the location where the rally will take place.
“We have made arrangements for the availability of appropriate health facilities on site, should they be needed,” said Dr Narrottam Sharma, Chief Medical Officer of Health, Jaipur (I).
Food safety teams will be deployed at Jaipur airport, venue of the rally and OTS.
In addition, in accordance with Covid protocols, 54 healthcare personnel will be present at all the doors of the rally to check the temperature of people present at the rally before entering the site. They will also provide them with face masks and hand sanitizers. More than 2 lakh masks will be distributed to them.
In addition, nine ambulances will be deployed to the site, including two intensive care ambulances.
In addition, a mini dispensary has also been installed on the site, where doctors and nurses will remain present. A separate dispensary has also been created for VIPs, who will attend the rally.
Officials said their staff at the site will ensure those attending the rally wear face masks to avoid the risk of the spread of Covid.
