BlueBotics to Demonstrate ANT® Navigation with Full AGV Fleet Demo at MODEX 2022

Autonomous navigation leader BlueBotics, recently acquired by ZAPI GROUP, is heading to MODEX 2022 to present a unique demonstration of a multi-brand fleet of vehicles equipped with its ANT® technology.

February 22, 2022/St-Sulpice, Switzerland — Autonomous navigation leader BlueBotics, recently acquired by ZAPI GROUP, is heading to MODEX 2022 to present a unique demonstration of a multi-brand fleet of vehicles equipped with its ANT® technology.

The company’s booth will feature several different brands of vehicles, spanning automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) from across the ANT® navigation ecosystem.

This sample fleet operation will be the main board of the company’s exhibition stand. The vehicles will perform a small pallet moving operation, all controlled by an ANT® server software project. The fleet will include: an automated towing tractor with cart, a forklift AGV, three BlueBotics mini™ lite autonomous mobile robots, as well as an industrial cleaning robot.

“As our fleet demo at MODEX will show, ANT® natural navigation is not only robust and accurate, but it also allows a business to connect the widest possible range of vehicle types and brands into a robust fleet,” says Nicola Tomatis, CEO of BlueBotics. “Today’s global organizations demand a high level of flexibility when building their AGV operations. The vast ecosystem of vehicles driven by ANT® offers multinationals the opportunity to work with different local vehicle suppliers in different countries, while reaping the benefits of deploying a single, globally proven standard.”

ANT® navigation
ANT® Natural Navigation by BlueBotics delivers accurate, robust and repeatable vehicle performance. The infrastructure changes required are minimal – unlike vehicles that follow physical lines or use laser triangulation – meaning vehicles are quick to install and operations can be changed easily in the future.
As a company’s site and needs change, multiple types and even brands of ANT® driven vehicles can be connected in a diverse fleet using the ANT® Server, the advanced mission of the enterprise and fleet management software. This software can also interface with a company’s existing WMS, MES or ERP software, in addition to communicating seamlessly with on-site equipment such as palletizers, automatic doors and elevators.
MODEX 2022 takes place March 28-31 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Alongside the demonstration of the company’s multi-brand fleet, BlueBotics’ team of autonomous navigation experts will be on hand to answer any questions visitors may have about ANT® or ANT® vehicles.
