WOODRIDGE, Ill. – The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) will be holding its Fall 2021 Technical Conference September 15-16 in Rosemont, Illinois.
Registration is currently open for members, accessible through the âUpcoming Eventsâ section of its website www.amra.org.
This will be the first in-person event the association has hosted since January 2020. Instead of the in-person technical conference, AMRA has hosted virtual webinars that members can view on the website.
Technical conferences are a regular part of the association’s Motorist Insurance Program (MAP), which is held three times a year and includes major service providers as well as other industry companies that support them.
Content for this year’s fall meeting will cover topics that will help AMRA / MAP members better serve motorists and their complex vehicles, the association said. Industry experts will give presentations designed to inform attendees of any recent changes in technology, processes or manufacturing.
“We are more than happy to host an in-person meeting. Like everyone else, we’ve been operating in a virtual world for the past year and a half and now we think it’s a great time for us to get back to what we do. best with our technical conference, âsaid AMRA president Jeff Cox.
The fall event will also include a networking dinner bringing together professionals from the service provider and non-service provider industry to foster relationships and serve as a collaborative pipeline.
AMRA, a non-profit trade association, is an alliance of automotive professionals responsible for customer service standards across 21,000 service provider sites and their 80,000 MAP qualified associates. Members include service providers, parts suppliers, parts manufacturers, tool and equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and technology companies.
